Pulmonology
Dr. Drachler is a highly respected Pulmonologist and Physician whose career in Medicine began back in 1968. Since then he has gained significant experience and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary conditions and diseases.
Dr. Drachler’s academic endeavors began at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, where he attained his medical degree. This was followed by an Internship at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, and both an Internal Medicine Residency and a Pulmonary Fellowship at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Drachler is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Working in the field of Pulmonology, Dr. Drachler deals with diseases of the respiratory tract and served as Director of Respiratory Therapy for 32 years at John C. Lincoln Hospital North Mountain. Dr. Drachler has cared for patients who required life support and mechanical ventilation and has focused specifically on diseases and conditions associated with the chest. This could include pneumonia, asthma, tuberculosis, emphysema, coccidioidomycosis and complicated chest infections.
In 2010 he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from John C. Lincoln Health Network.
Currently, Dr. Drachler is affiliated with HonorHealth Pulmonology in Phoenix, a facility specializing in the treatment of obstructive pulmonary diseases. Keen to remain at the forefront of his profession, Dr. Drachler is a Fellow of The American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FACCP).
